Guess Ragbrai is really happening!!!
Adam and I are off tonight for Charles City to pitch our tent among the other cyclists making the journey east across Iowa! For those not familiar with Ragbrai, it's the largest bike-touring event in the world. Currently in its 45th year, it's an iconic event in Iowa and Adam and I decided last year that we had to be a part of this culture! Unfortunately we are only able to join the last three days (or rather we knew we weren't in good enough shape for 7 days!) so our first day will be tomorrow. Ragbrai kicked off on the west side of the state, traveling from river to river, on Sunday and ends at the Mississippi River on Saturday in Lansing.

Think about us over the next three days as we ride 60-ish miles each day, including some pretty substantial hills (but hopefully minimal wind!). We need all the positive vibes we can get!!
